I trudged to the scale. Well, at least that crummy pound didn't come back in my sleep. Onward.
I added the following:
17. Gave up lattes and scones.
18. Ate bigger lunches than dinners.
19. Had Japanese food out instead of Mexican.
20. Signed up for a weekly cardio-dance class at the gym.
21. Learned how to use the treadmill.
22. Bought 3-pound dumb bells.
23. Paid attention to how long I chewed my food.
24. Joined the circuit workout group.
25. Assigned calories to all the foods I eat regularly.
26. Found a walking buddy.
27. Stopped eating dairy products.
28. Did not restock crackers or potatoes.

Why did you give up Starbucks? Does caffeine affect your weight?
Maybe some people go to Starbucks and have plain coffee and no pastry, but I didn't. Carmel Macchiato and a scone. Sound familiar? Plus, it was easy for me to give up Starbucks because I'm not a coffee hound. I was wasting money and calories for no compelling reason.
